DIY... Gingerbread house?

So for a Christmas present I was given 2 gingerbread houses, one is gingerbread and the other is rice crispy treats, and i was so excited to make it. But plans changed and time and time again I did not get to make my Gingerbread house. Finally my best friend came over and we made, and it was horrible. The taste that is I thought it looks super cute. But the marsh mellows were definitely stale, and the candies were yuck, but we had SO much fun making it.

TADA!!! Well it was quite and adventure. So much fun and goo dmomeries, I highly recommend making one, they always end it laughter.

...NO!!!! Not the gumdrop buttons...

50's flare... A makeup tutorial

Alright so I have been looking through latest makeup trends, and a lot of designers have been using the 50's cat eye. which I love. I love wings, especially for smaller eyes this enhances them drawing the eyes up making your eyes look not only sexier but bigger! Awesome right? So today I am going to show you how to achieve this simple look. Its just a thick wing on your upper eye lid.

My tutorial is more like the second picture, but feel free to spice it up with some colors!

I started my putting rever-upper on by bare essentials. It helps hold the makeup. you can also use a primer if you please.

Next I used silver lining by Bare essentials to cover my whole lid. I made it darker on the bottom and lighter towards my eye brown

next i took black leather by bare essentials and i mixed a little bit of water with the powder to create a consistent paste. i used a fin tipped brush to do the eye liner.

draw a line all the way across the edge of your eye extending it out past the outside by a little bit.

draw your lines, i prefer to do this because it is easier to fix. draw the line from the corner of your eye halfway to your eyebrow then connect these lines to the middle of your eye.

fill this in and touch up areas your might have messed up. I finished my eyes off with volume mascara by bare essentials.

Repeat this on your other eye, then you are done such a simple and sexy look!! this looks good with nude or light pink lips. keep it simple like they did in the 50s!!

Hope you liked this. It was my first makeup tutorial and I really liked it! I may do more. I like anything from a simple eye to on the town shadowed eye, to a natural look. Today I was feeling simple. Happy Mondays my loves!!!

Just another day in Paradise... Belated Fashion Friday

Gosh so I know I'm really bad at doing these dang things on time, and I could say I forgot (which I did) I could say I got lazy (which I did) or I could say that I just have other things on my mind (which I do), So instead I will apologize and continue to try better. Anyways... Lately I have been really into the 50's stuff, like pinups, cat eyes, all that jazz. So I put together a small Fashion Forward outfit. Please pardon the photography I'm really not good at doing it myself. And my sisters seemed to be too busy to assist me, so I concurred this via solo. So I only got top shots. But all I was wearing was jeans and my sandals, nothing fancy, because today I was not feeling fancy. I was feeling laid back cute. Which this shirt is. I found it as a cover up from Kmart and hated how it was like a tent. So i stitch up the front and made a cute shirt. Which I love.

What Im wearing:
Shirt ~ Kmart
Bracelets ~ Premier Designs
Rings ~ Forever 21
Glasses ~ Forever 21
Earrings ~ Premier Designs

Hope you liked it everyone!!! Have a fabulous weekend, and I will see you all Monday. Because I have my first ever makeup tutorial coming out. I promise. I already have it ready to show you!!! EEEP! I hope it looks good. lemme know! And I may do more!

...I can only please one person per day. Today I chose me...

DIY Jewelry Hanger

Hello ladies and gents!!! I am excited to be here blogging again. It has been a chaotic, stressful, busy week and I apologize for my lack of blogging. One of my friends got on me about it so here I am blogging. Ps I am not just blogging for her, I realize I am letting you all down. Thankfully I am here with something I thought was quite genius on my part. I am not a big fan of jewelry boxes. Why you ask? Here is my reason, Out of sight, out of mind.  I like to see everything I have or I will forget what I have considering I have A LOT of jewelry, so lately I have been finding creative ways to display my jewelry and also not have to buy anything new. So here is what I did.
At first I hung my jewelry on my wall, stuck pins in it and all, then I realized I am going to have to fill every hole I created with wall putty, ugh, to much effort. So to still have it all hanging and on display I took an old coat hanger rack, the ones that slip onto your door and hung all of my jewelry. I was so proud, now I still can see it and no holes!!! YAY!!! So here is some pictures. BTW, I do not know if someone already did this or not, and if someone did well I am giving it a new twist. (my door is painted!!!!)

See genius, you'll thank me later!!! So yeah back on blogging!!! See you Wednesday!!!

My nails drip with hate: A Nail DIY

Hello everybody! So due to the inconvenience my computer wont let me upload a software to compress my videos. ugh... its been a hard few days, I'm emotionally exhausted. But my camera still works, so I did a nail diy for you all, to compensate for what I haven't been doing. So onto the doing of the fancy smancy nails!!!

start with clean and buffed nails.

Next cover your nail with a nail base coat. Then cover your whole nail in red.

Now to make the dripping part treat it like a manicure. make a line across the top of your nail.

Then make dots, these will be guidelines for your dripping.

Finally take a dotting tool ( I made mine by taking a nail and sticking it into the end of a pencil, works great!) and drag the line to the dot, this makes the dripping image.

And now your done!!! Hope you enjoyed it! Later I will be posting Fashion Friday! Stay tuned!!!!

Day 3: The Knotted Ponytail

And the second blog today! Okay so I wont be doing how I wore this today, I have 2 finals tomorrow, gotta study but I wasn't going to deny you all a tutorial! I kinda figured out how to upload videos! Yay! going to upload one for the Artsy ponytail probably tomorrow. I'm not a huge computer person, like I know some things about it, but I am not a genius but this blog is helping me learn the ropes. So this ponytail is super cute, and super easy as you can tell it literally takes like 1 minute. you can also take longer by curling the tail or adding accessories and such, I choose not too, cause with this hair style I like it plain. But that's just me. Now onward with the telling of the hair... stuff. :)

What you will need:
*Brush
*Hair tie

yeah only two things, your welcome.

Like it? Love it? I hope so. Now what to wear with it. its so laid back virtually anything, I wore a lacy floral shirt with capris, and my favorite chandelier earrings. they poke through my hair and are sparkly! sandals too, but I have worn some hot pumps with this do.

I also want to say I have developed an accessory problem, okay not a problem more of a scientific break through!! The latest fashion trend is wearing bulky bracelets and rings. Which I love!!!!! I love gaudy rings and bangles!!! So check this page out, I love it and have been following these tips religiously. Out with lots of necklaces... in with bangles, cuffs, watches and more!!!!!! Happy Accessorizing my dears.

Its gonna be a Black Tie Affair... Nails DIY

Alright everyone. Thank you for being patient with me, but here is your Nail DIY! This one is a bit classier and I think it looks fabulous. It makes me feel like I should be holding some cider in one hand (I don't drink) and in a long elegant dress. Preferably black and sparkly. I hope that set the mood for you.

Start off with buffed and clean nails. Per usual.

Next cover your whole nails with a nude or light pink color. I found that the lighter pink gives it a better contrast than a nude.  Let this completely dry! No joke if it's still wet it will come off later. Go read a book, ponder life's greatest mysteries, or if your a college student like me, study for your 5 finals that week.

Now take small pieces of tape and make a little triangle on the base of your finger tips. Meaning use the corners of the tape for this manicure, not a flat edge.

Take a black color, I like mine with a little shimmer, and cover the tips of your nails, the tape will prevent it from getting on the base of your nail. Let this dry. Now go watch a television program, write a novel... anything that wont mess up your nice nails.

Now that its all dry slowly and carefully remove your tape. Once they are all removed, trace the line the black and the pink made with a nail pen (white). and voila a tuxedo classy nail look. I like this more than a regular french, It screams "I'm classy and I know it!"

Okay so now that this in a bit I will be posting the Ponytail look for today. Keep it classy ladies and gents!

...The first step to looking fabulous, is sparkles...
