Just another day in Paradise... Belated Fashion Friday

Gosh so I know I'm really bad at doing these dang things on time, and I could say I forgot (which I did) I could say I got lazy (which I did) or I could say that I just have other things on my mind (which I do), So instead I will apologize and continue to try better. Anyways... Lately I have been really into the 50's stuff, like pinups, cat eyes, all that jazz. So I put together a small Fashion Forward outfit. Please pardon the photography I'm really not good at doing it myself. And my sisters seemed to be too busy to assist me, so I concurred this via solo. So I only got top shots. But all I was wearing was jeans and my sandals, nothing fancy, because today I was not feeling fancy. I was feeling laid back cute. Which this shirt is. I found it as a cover up from Kmart and hated how it was like a tent. So i stitch up the front and made a cute shirt. Which I love.

Day 3: The Knotted Ponytail

And the second blog today! Okay so I wont be doing how I wore this today, I have 2 finals tomorrow, gotta study but I wasn't going to deny you all a tutorial! I kinda figured out how to upload videos! Yay! going to upload one for the Artsy ponytail probably tomorrow. I'm not a huge computer person, like I know some things about it, but I am not a genius but this blog is helping me learn the ropes. So this ponytail is super cute, and super easy as you can tell it literally takes like 1 minute. you can also take longer by curling the tail or adding accessories and such, I choose not too, cause with this hair style I like it plain. But that's just me. Now onward with the telling of the hair... stuff. :)

What you will need:
*Brush
*Hair tie

yeah only two things, your welcome.

Like it? Love it? I hope so. Now what to wear with it. its so laid back virtually anything, I wore a lacy floral shirt with capris, and my favorite chandelier earrings. they poke through my hair and are sparkly! sandals too, but I have worn some hot pumps with this do.

I also want to say I have developed an accessory problem, okay not a problem more of a scientific break through!! The latest fashion trend is wearing bulky bracelets and rings. Which I love!!!!! I love gaudy rings and bangles!!! So check this page out, I love it and have been following these tips religiously. Out with lots of necklaces... in with bangles, cuffs, watches and more!!!!!! Day 2: The Artsy Ponytail

Alright so I apologize for not doing a Manicure Monday. I have 5 tests this week and an essay for my finals. GAHHH!! Anyways then uploading my videos takes like 3 hours! Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Oh well I will continue to try to upload them.



So everyone like the edgy ponytail? Well here is the Artsy ponytail. I hope you enjoy it. By the way excuse the silent movie. :)

What you will need:
*Hair brush
*Bobby pins
*Hair ties

BOHO side bun

Alright guys. So I have noticed everyone likes the hair tutorials more so here is a BOHO casual side bun with an accessory. Every hairdo looks even snazzier with a hair accessory. Its like dressing up an outfit with jewelry.

What you will need:
~ hair brush
~two hair ties
~bobby pins
~hairspray
~scarf, head band, flower, etc...

Start off with clean or day old hair. Either will work for this hairdo; brush through your hair thoroughly.

Btw. Excuse the zombie sad face. I tried smiling but it looked weird so lifeless face. Yeah :)
Next take your first hair tie and secure a low side ponytail leaving out some hair, or your bags. . This will be the base for your bun.

Now take the second hair tie and tie your hair in a bun leaving some hair out to the side of the bun. For me the messier the better, it makes it look more laid back and you can always fix messy to your preferences.

 

 

Now take your bangs or the left out hair and pin them back loosely. These will stick out of the headband/scarf. Lightly mist your bangs with hair spray to hold in place.

 

Now take your scarf and wrap it around your head. When you get underneath wrap it in between the bun and the left out hair so it sticks out to the side. Tie it on the side of the bun. If you have a headband place it comfortably on your head. This look is super cute and so easy!! I do it when I am on the run and have little time for my hair. No curling needed, no straightener! NO HEAT!!! I have seen so many tutorials that start off with curl your hair first for this 5 minute hairstyle. They obviously haven't met my hair. My hair curls easily, but I have A LOT of hair as you can see. So this hairstyle take literally like 5 minutes.

Yay all done!!! okay so I have decided next week I am going to do a hair tutorial every day ( Monday-Friday). I always see girls wear the same ponytail everyday. So next week I am going to show you a different way to style a ponytail each weekday! This starts Monday, and I am so excited! I am hopefully going to try and do a video for each, It will be easier than taking a million photos and going through each one. I will still post a new nail idea on Manicure Monday as well as do a Fashion Friday.

Spring Fling

Well hello everyone! Who is glad it is Friday? I am. Because for me it means only two more days left of school! I only have classes Tuesday and Thursday which means the other days I have to study and relax. Three finals left till my summer freedom!  So to celebrate I wore my new favorite dress. Now before this I have never been a maxi dress fan. I have always thought short dress were cute and flirty and maxi dresses just seemed so... what word am I looking for? Uh... OH!!! They are just too dressy. Like something you wear to a dance or and ball or something, not something for an everyday thing.  But then I watched my favorite show Gossip Girl (I know I'm addicted!!!) and I saw Serena wear the prettiest maxi dress and I decided I needed one. So I searched everywhere looking for the perfect maxi and then before Christmas this last year I found one and I fell in love.
Now for me if something is expensive I wont buy it. I am HUGE when it comes to savings cause for me that means more clothes or accessories or ANYTHING!!! The more I can save the more new additions to my wardrobe I will be coming home with. (and each new edition is like a new baby for me to add to my family). So here we are with this outfit and lemme tell you... I got some steals ;) Oh and a special thanks to my photographer my little sister, Kelli! XOXO

No Heat Waves

Hey everyone!!! Hows everyone's Wednesday going? Alright, so I am always browsing the internet for new DIY and hairstyles. I even recently got into pinterest and found so many new fabulous ideas! I cant wait to do them on myself and my sister and my clients! So today, I am showing you how I crimp my hair. I love this cause its soooo simple and easy!

What you will need:

• Hair brush 
• Hair ties

 

Brush through your hair till there are no more knots.  French braid your hair on both sides so your have two braids. Braid as far down as you can then tie with a hair tie. (P.s. please ignore my under construction bathroom!)

 I braided my hair on both sides, because my hair is so thick, sometimes Ill do four braids, depending on the size of waves I want.  Now my favorite part! Just go to sleep in them, its so comfortable and easy!

 Finally, take out your braid in the morning, and voila beautiful waves!!!

Welcome to Inspire Fantasy

Well today is my first time blogging. But I have come upon many bloggers who seem to enjoy posting about their lives and discoveries.  And lately I have needed a big distraction.  Have you ever had something on your mind and just can't seem to think of anything else, BUT THAT!!! Well I'm in that stupor. I have tried listening to music, watching my favorite movies, stumbling (one of my favorite things to do on the computer), sewing, doing my nails, doing hair, makeup, everything and anything I enjoy to take my mind off of what has been going on. And then it hit me.  I can just distract myself with blogging. Others have done it. and now so will I. Or well at least I'll try :)

~ Now onto the fun part! Inspire Fantasy is something I came up with while designing my next fashion line.  Who doesn't love fairy tales? The story of the fair maiden who is whisked away by her soul-mate, carried into the sunset on his majestic steed. Having a Fairy Godmother POOF and dress you in a gorgeous white gown, with shoes, makeup, and hair all done ready to let everyone see. To be granted 3 wishes by a genie with all the power in the world.  Yeah I love these stories.  So now i want to live my own fantasy. I love fashion and everything that comes with it! And I want to share it with anyone who will care to listen. So enjoy and Inspire your own Fantasy.
